Method 3. Use Command Prompt

Step 1. Right-click the Start button and select Command Prompt (Admin)

Step 2. Type the following command in the command prompt window and hit Enter

netcfg –s n

Step 4. If DNI_DNE is in the list, type the following commands one after another in the same command prompt window to resolve the problem:

reg delete HKCR\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3} /f
netcfg -v -u dni_dne

After finishing the above 4 steps, if you receive an error 0x80004002, you could proceed the following steps:

Step 1. Press Windows + R altogether to open the Run box

Step 2. Type Regedit and then press Enter to open Registry Editor

Step 3. Navigate to the registry key below:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{988248f3-a1ad-49bf-9170-676cbbc36ba3}

Step 4. If DNI_DNE still exists, delete it

After that, you can restart the computer and reconnect to your WiFi network to see if the no WiFi or wireless adapter not working problem has been resolved.
