How to Fix HTC Vive Driver Calibration Error 206 or 207

What Causes the HTC Vive Driver Calibration Error
Vive driver not calibrated error, or driver calibration valid error, is caused by a failure of the headset calibration to be loaded by SteamVR, which often shows error code 206 or 207 on the screen.
How to Solve Vive Error 206 and Error 207
Driver issues can affect the use of the HTC Vive headset, and cause computer issues like black screen, no WiFi available, no sound on Windows, etc.
To solve Vive error 206 or 207, you could choose one of the methods below:
Method 1: Check the USB Drivers on the PC
You need proper USB drivers to make all the SteamVR USB devices performance on the PC. Run Driver Talent on the computer and follow the steps below to uninstall and reinstall the drivers.

Step 1: Uninstall the USB Drivers
Scan your PC to check if there are problematic drivers, and then click Uninstall menu to uninstall the USB drivers.
Step 2: Reinstall the Drivers

You could reset your headset to force the drivers to reinstall and here are the steps:
1. Unplug the HTC Vive headset from the computer. Run SteamVR. Click the menu and select Settings.
2. Choose Developer from the left column. Scroll down to the Reset section and click the button Remove all SteamVR USB Devices.
3. Plug the headset to your PC. Make sure the PC is connected to the Internet and wait for the drivers to be installed.
