What this error is telling you is that the card has crashed. This is generally a hardware problem. It could be brought on by an excess of heat,a bad overclock, something wrong with the card itself, or something wrong with a part feeding the card (MB or Power). If the card is clean, you are sure nothings else in the system is broken, and the cards are not overclocked then the issue is probably with the cards or the motherboard.
This is a specific error (in a way, it is also painfully general in that it does not tell you the exact issue) as it points directly to the GPU.
It is very unlikely the problem is with a part of the system unrelated to the GPU (overclock on the memory or cpu for instance). However, SLI or crossfire adds an extra bit of issue to this as cards that work fine alone may have problems together that would trigger Time-out Detection and Recovery (TDR).So today this article will tell you some solutions to solve this problem.
Step 1. Go to Drive Talent official website to download Drive Talent Eighth Edition or click Download Now Directly.
Step 2. After downloading and installing, run it and update all drivers as prompted. It is recommended to update all drivers.
Step 3. Restart the computer to make the updated driver take effect.
Note: If the graphics card driver cannot be installed, please enter the safe mode to completely uninstall the original graphics card driver, and then restart to update the new graphics card driver.
Step 1. Right click on the computer and select properties.
Step 2. Select advanced system settings, click settings.
Step 3. Click Adjust for best performance, and then OK.
Step 1. Win key + R to open the running window.
Step 2. Enter regedit, if you are asked by UAC, select Yes.
Step 3. See Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers step by step.
Step 4. Add or modify the value of TdrDelay.
Step 5. If the registry key TdrDelay does not exist, right-click on the GraphicsDrivers level to create a DWORD (32-bit) Value with the name TdrDelay.
Step 6. Double-click TdrDelay, set the base to Decimal, and modify the value, for example, 60.
Step 7. The creation and modification of TdrDdiDelay are the same as above, but also pay attention to the number from hexadecimal to decimal, which is more intuitive. By default, the newly created items are all hexadecimal (Hexadecimal).
Step 8. Restart the computer.
