On September 14, 2021, Microsoft has released the Windows 10 KB5005565 (Build 19043.1237) for Windows 10 version 21H1 (May 2021 Update), Windows 10 version 20H2, and Windows 10 version 2004 (May 2020 Update). This new update comes with important security bug fixes and quality improvements.
The security bug, MSHTML (CVE-2021-40444) is now fixed.
A bug preventing Bluetooth headsets from working is now fixed.
A bug blocking headsets when users who have third-party drivers try to connect the audio devices with USB is now fixed.
A bug causing that users who use Chinese Input Method Editor can not type words in the username box during Windows 10 setup screen is now fixed.
A bug crashing the computer when users try a gesture with touch input, like the touch pad, is now fixed.
A bug causing black screen when users who use external monitors try to restart the desktop from hibernation mode is now fixed.
A bug bringing residual line artifacts into the resized images is now fixed.
A bug damaging the streaming standard dynamic range content on HDR monitors is now fixed.
It should be noted that on different versions of operating system, the build number will vary, even though the update is the same. Users of version 21H1 will get Windows 10 Build 19043.1237 through this patch. Users of version 20H2 will get Windows 10 Build 19042.1237 while those of version 2004 will receive Build 19041.1237.

For users who are not able to download and install the cumulative updates with Windows Updates or Windows Server Update Services (WSUS), Microsoft Update Catalog is recommended.
Steps:
1. Just go to the Microsoft Update Catalog.
2. Find the patch which is next to the correct edition and version.
3. Click on the “Download” button.
4. Right-click and copy the .msu link.
5. Paste it in another browser tab to start the download.
Microsoft has noticed a issue in this update. After installing KB5003690, some users could not install new updates, like the KB5004945 or later updates, and they will receive the error message "PSFX_E_MATCHING_BINARY_MISSING".
